Endurance Championship

Date: Jul 1 to Sep 6
Time: 12 hour window

Course details: You have one 12-hour window to log as many kilometres as you can (e.g., if you start at 7 am, you have until 7 pm). Anything goes. Distance can be completed in one paddle, or in chunks with rest in between. Strategize wisely! This is intended for neutral/open-water (incl. downwind) conditions. No running river currents in this one.

Posting note: If you need to post multiple GPS links, you’ll have to publish a race report to the website first, and add all your GPS links to that post, then use that post link in the GPS link of your entry.

Final results ranked by total distance covered. You’ll lose 1/3 series point for every km behind the group leader.

Thanks for the great season and the toque!

Looking forward to continuing this next season, even with (hopefully) more in-person events opening.

Agreed! I didn’t post a lot of my races...but I sure do love being a part of it...and continue to be in awe of everyone!

Love this! ♥️

Facebook keeps telling me that I haven’t posted here in awhile….I know! I miss paddling! Although I am only able to get out once a week right now I truly love this time of year for paddling. I call it the ‘Thickening’. You may not feel it as much on the big lakes but on the smaller lake around here you can almost feel the water thickening. It’s heavier on the blade, black and ominous. Everything is slowing down in the water and going deeper. It’s a great time to reflect and connect to every part of the stroke, water, rhythm and breath.

Hope you are all doing well and still getting out.

Like a few others in the group, I was happy to get out to do the triathlon. In most other years, cycling and running would have typically been my go to activities. This has no doubt been the summer of paddling..
Thanks to all and look forward to getting out to a SUP event or 2 next year.

Not to be a complete jerk, but didn’t this race close Sept. 30? If it’s still open I’d love to give it another shot 😜

Well, we missed our in-person Paddle Battle dream by two days 😓. Next year we'll do something in the flesh! Results and prizes coming this weekend... ... See MoreSee Less

Got in for the DW cup today. Not big open swell conditions like it’s meant to be, but definitely with the downwinder. 😂
Thanks to Canadian Paddle League for a great season of paddling. Thoroughly enjoyed! 🤙
