Agreed! I didn’t post a lot of my races...but I sure do love being a part of it...and continue to be in awe of everyone!

Love this! ♥️

Facebook keeps telling me that I haven’t posted here in awhile….I know! I miss paddling! Although I am only able to get out once a week right now I truly love this time of year for paddling. I call it the ‘Thickening’. You may not feel it as much on the big lakes but on the smaller lake around here you can almost feel the water thickening. It’s heavier on the blade, black and ominous. Everything is slowing down in the water and going deeper. It’s a great time to reflect and connect to every part of the stroke, water, rhythm and breath.

Hope you are all doing well and still getting out.

Like a few others in the group, I was happy to get out to do the triathlon. In most other years, cycling and running would have typically been my go to activities. This has no doubt been the summer of paddling..
Thanks to all and look forward to getting out to a SUP event or 2 next year.

Not to be a complete jerk, but didn’t this race close Sept. 30? If it’s still open I’d love to give it another shot 😜
