4-6 events are realistic.
22 was just right!! May I suggest for the shirts to stay away from male or female the previous year with the Jeep was awesome. This year it looked like I borrowed my husbands shirt with the dude paddler!
Loved it! Almost missed some of the deadlines but that's part of the challenge. Fastest 5 and endurance champ were my favourite races.

THANK YOU Canadian Paddle League and everyone - organizers and sponsors for another awesome summer on the water. And those 10 Challenges… not one of them easy. But hard work and incredibly satisfying and yes…major fun on the water and in! Thank you also to the paddling community for truly inspiring race reports and photos. Tried to keep up with all of you (too fast) on my little Prone, arms moving like a motor! Not possible…but loved trying!

Quelle bonne nouvelle 🥰

Well…
Today….The conditions were definitely less choppy, less bright sunshine than Thursday but as planned I was ready for another shot at the Paddle Battle 6km race. Not surprised, the wind managed to kick up a little while I was around the 2km mark but the #showmustgoon
So…in the end I managed to shave a few minutes off my last effort 2 days ago.
Yay.
6km.
6 buoy turns.
44:33 :)) ... See MoreSee Less

That’s likely a wrap for CDN Paddling League this season finally getting a light breeze in the right direction for a downwinder..
I must say that I was hoping for something much more exciting though 💨 💨 💨.. Will keep watching the forecast into October..
Cheers 🍻 and thanks for all the motivating posts over the season!! 👏 👏 👍. Would love to see everyone’s scenic fall paddles from across the country. ... See MoreSee Less

Well today was my Paddle Battle 6km Race day…not sure if the water will settle down before the end of September (mayyyyyybe Saturday?) but regardless today was the day! Late afternoon… a Beautiful, sunny not-a-cloud-in-the-sky kinda thing…
The lake was very far from flat….
Side wind, up wind and a little side downwind…and
5 buoy turns:). My time came in at 47:51…meh it’s ok but if Saturday presents me with faster paddling situation, I just might grab it!! ... See MoreSee Less
