The action heated up in June, with the Distance Challenge complete, and the 1000m and Fastest Five events underway. We’re now entering the heaviest part of the season with some competitive and challenging events getting underway. Distance Challenge Results
Tim Oliver took the men’s SUP race, covering almost 20 km in 2 hrs. Yikes! Shout-out to Dan Miller and Brad Petrus for rounding out the podium.
Jessica Rando makes its three-for-three to start the year, covering just over 17 km in 2 hours. Danielle Holdsworth was on her tail again to finish second, and Julia Barnes rounded out the podium.
Tim, Dan and Rob Kavcic topped the OC1 leaderboard, each of them doing double-duty again in June along with their SUP entries. In the women’s division, Marianne Tai edged out Christine Lefebvre by less than half a km over the 2 hour challenge.
