Glassy conditions on a brisk fall morning at Bearspaw. Brisk was not -99degrees as my Strava indicates, but just cold enough for numb fingers. No eagle sightings this morning. You would have seen my orange shirt.

5km+ on the Bow River on a Saturday evening…. sounds lazy-dazy and chillaxing. Not this one! Some power behind the paddle and commitment to keeping all 14 feet of my board underfoot, and this paddle was over before I knew it! Shuttle setup took longer…. gotta love road construction…
