Left it to the last minute, so had to do laps while keeping an eye on my kids haha. Pretty nice day on Lake Muskoka…went out for four loops, including some back-and-forth with the kids.

There was a tiny bump on an otherwise glassy morning. My rivalry with Thomas Markhauser continues, and I can imagine catching a wave into shore to time him again, right to last second!

Sprint Addiction :)
August 1000m @ 6:03. Silky turn, but missed some strokes going out. My sub-6:00 times from the spring now seem a few seconds out of reach?? I was not a sprint paddler in my youth like some of you guys, but I see how it can get addictive!
